We welcomed Zach with The Junkluggers to the house today for a tour and to talk about all the wonderful things Junkluggers is doing for Hospice House! Junkluggers is a local junk removal company that focuses on being as green as possible – avoiding taking things to the landfill if not necessary. One of their recent projects, The Green Thrift Store, does just that. Once they complete a pick up from a client, the team collects and sells items that can be resold and donates a portion of the proceeds to a local charity. Hospice House of Williamsburg was that charity in Quarter 3, and we’re so grateful for this opportunity.
There are many exciting things ahead and we thank Zach and the entire Junkluggers team for what they’re doing to help the community! The Green Thrift Store is open on select Saturdays, and their next opening will be October 14th.
